RaidenMAILD Help

- Service Installer -

Service Installer is windows system service program, its job is to execute RaidenMAILD and monitor it. If you want to start raidenmaild without log on windows, you should use Service Installer.

Which slot do you want to access?

There are 3 slots you could manage to start raidenmaild, which means you could start 3 raidenmaild in one computer as long as they are installed in different directories and using different port for SMTP/POP3 services.

Slot Service start type

There are 2 kinds of start type. Keep Alive and Start Once.

Keep Alive means the service will start raidenmaild and monitor it. As long as the raidenmaild process is terminated, it will restart raidenmaild to maintain the SMTP/POP3/WEBMAIL service running status.

Start Once means it only starts raidenmaild then doesn't take care of it.

Which SMTP IP to be tested

If you enable Health Monitor, you could specify which SMTP IP to test the running status. If the SMTP IP is unable to test, the service will restart the raidenmaild.

Enable Health Monitor for Keep Alive start type

Health Monitor means it will test SMTP service automatically every 10 minutes, if the test result is failed, it will restart raidenmaild. Therefore, you need to make sure the test result is ok when your server is running. (avoid firewall to block the test action and avoid setup a wrong smtp ip to test)
